Ramco Cements – Mathodu Plant, Karnataka, India is part of The Ramco Cements Limited, one of India’s leading cement manufacturers. The plant specializes in producing Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) and other high-quality cement grades, supporting infrastructure and construction needs with a focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, and low carbon footprint. At Ramco Cements – Mathodu Plant, the existing automation system was based on Fix32 SCADA. We successfully upgraded the system to GE Ifix v5.5 and executed the design, installation, and commissioning of the Ifix SCADA while the plant remained fully operational. Additionally, we developed a custom historical trend & report master tool tailored to the plant’s specific requirements, enabling improved monitoring, reporting, and operational visibility—all achieved without any plant shutdown, ensuring uninterrupted production throughout the upgrade process
