🚀 Project Completion Announcement – SCADA System Upgrade for Energy Sector

BIS Technologies is proud to announce the successful completion of a major SCADA system upgrade and digital monitoring enhancement project for a leading organization in the Energy Distribution Sector operating across India in CNG, LPG and Home Gas distribution.

This project focused on modernizing the client's monitoring infrastructure to improve system reliability, operational visibility, centralized monitoring, and advanced data analysis across their nationwide network of stations.

The upgraded architecture includes two central SCADA servers and five client workstations located across control centers in India. Field stations equipped with PLC systems communicate through GPRS connectivity to the control rooms, enabling real-time monitoring and data acquisition across all stations.

All station data is transmitted to both SCADA servers located at separate facilities, ensuring higher reliability and availability of operational data.

A key highlight of the project is the implementation of server-client redundancy architecture. Both servers are connected to all client systems and remain synchronized. In case one server fails, the clients automatically receive data from the secondary server, ensuring continuous monitoring and uninterrupted system operation.

BIS Technologies also implemented several SCADA visualization and monitoring enhancements, including:

• New dynamic SCADA dashboards for centralized monitoring
• Communication status monitoring for each station
• Updated 3D station graphics and visualization
• Automatic station count and category-wise statistics integrated into dashboards
• Automated sales data updates

A complete advanced reporting system was also developed to support operational monitoring and analysis, including:

• Daily Sales Reports
• Weekly Sales Reports
• Monthly Sales Reports
• Price Revision Reports
• Alarm Reports
• Logsheet Reports
• Morning & Evening Reports
• Energy (kWh) Reports

All reports include custom filters such as date-wise selection and station group filters, making it easier for users to quickly access and analyze operational data.

Additionally, BIS Technologies developed a custom Historian reporting and analysis tool to enable historical data visualization, trend analysis, and deeper operational insights.
